The Society is a non-profit association. It was founded as the Society for Advancement in Agriculture Rural Development (SAARD) on August 20, 2018. It is a scientific society of individuals, academicians and institutions interested in the field of Agricultural Science and its related disciplines. Being a scientific society, its principal aim is to uphold the research effort in the field of Agricultural Sciences and its related disciplines. The membership of the society is open to all professionals, academicians across globally, who are actively involved for the betterment of the society and their work address a broad range of disciplines such as Agriculture Science, Applied Science, Rural Development, Resources and Environment, Horticulture Science, Plant Science and Agribusiness. The Society brings together researchers and academicians who are  interested to solve the problems of society, to enhance the knowledge and understanding of Agricultural Science, Agricultural Economics and other related disciplines to exchange  experiences, ideas and information among  agriculturist, Agricultural Economists, Agricultural Scientists and Plant Scientists. The Society also ensure to organize National and International Kisan Mela/Gosthi every year to provide an excellent forum for both general lectures and presentations, to enable the Scientist and Farmer’s to update their knowledge.
